Ok people, I am seriously thinking about making Customized Hip quivers (after I get moved) What kind of Pockets/Pouches, holders, etc...would you like to have on your 3D quivers/belts?
Bino Pocket or clip?
3-4 tubes for arrows?
Pencil holder?
Card holder?
Insulated Cup holder (I am tired of drinking Hot water)?
Sweat Towel holder?
Release pocket?
Snack Pouch?
Camera Pocket? (I never have a safe place for my camera)
Thanks for your help, I hope I can get something going for the next 3D season:biggrin1:

I think it is going to be tough... I use one similar to this one and I think it has most of the things I want:
"The VISTA Renegade quiver is 20" long and equipped with a 9.5" x 5.5" x 2" accessory pocket that has a score card slot and pencil slot. Pocket is removeable to be used as a belt pouch. 4 arrow tubes included. Can be used by both right and left hand shooters."

What about water bottles ? Somebody needs to come up with a real quiver that takes care of real needs... There is not one out there now in my opinion.
What I carry is an over the shoulder fanny pack with 2 1-liter water bottle holders and enought space to hold snacks, a few tools, a few spare parts, another brain for when I get target panic, etc...
Then I use a Neet hip quiver that weights next to nothing. 3 tubes, easily holds 9 fat shaft arrows and has a pouch for a release, place for a pencil, clip for the scorecard, a couple of D rings for lube-tube, cheap golf towel, target cards, etc... Works great for me. If I have to wait at a target I sit on the ground against a tree and sip water and/or munch on a granola. I don't carry a seat/stool or whatever they can be called these days.
My binos are on an over the shoulder, behind the back, bino system but it sometimes gets in the way of the fanny pack shoulder straps. Somebody needs to incorporate a bino system and quiver into a fanny pack with a shoulder harness.
Maybe I'll work on that only to have someone steal the idea from me... :peace:

Sorry, it is just a thought right now, but as soon as I get settled into my new home, I am going to start messing around with some different ideas.

i think any of the above ideas are great, mostly it would be nice to see some colors.....besides black and brown that don't cost a million bucks.

I personally like the 3 tube quivers.
2 small pockets
An insulated cup holder would be great
Also, I would love to have one with a Bowtech logo on it and maybe the model of the bow too.
Hope your idea takes off wheels, sounds like a good one

intresting Idea... the best imho would be an "al a carte" style quiver...
I start with a "base model" (basically select the quiver style... clip on, belt.. etc) and then add everything I want.
Some people will want a very specific set of features, others will want all the space they can get.
some other suggestions:
- pouch / pocket designed to hold you QSA / Pod
- small "button enclosure" type pockets for holding lense cleaning rags and other small items
- Oversized backpack attachment so Bow-Man can bring his ego with him on the course
I think colors, logos, embroidery... all will help significantly with sales as long as the price isn't to extreme.

Sorry guys I deleted some of the hijack fluff posts...Not fair to Wheels since it's her thread.
:focus:
Wheels make sure you offer something lighter than leather if that's possible. Pockets for everything is what people seem to want. A place for score card, pencils, release pouch, etc.

I think Dredly has the right approach, an ala-carte quiver taylored to the user. A sewn leather holster for the front leg of a Quick Stand down the front, and a modular system of pouches and clips for various uses at a reasonable price would be something I haven't seen on the market yet, and I bet would do really well! :thumb:

I guess I will throw in something useful to this thread as well...I think some kind of built in chip clip type thing for holding scorecards would be sweet. And a good pencil holder right next to it!

five tubes one for each arrow only a little smaller tubes but big enough for a 2613 x7, pencil holder, and a pull out score card holder like the pull out key chain, bino clip, water bottle holder and a release holder in the front instead of the back.

Yes that is one thing I hate to. Almost lost my release one time because of it.
I do not know about you guys but a complete set up like I want and Quick Stand Archery sawn on it with the logo. I would pay around 100 dollars for all of it the way I want. Because it would be the last one I bought. Now i have 2 set ups,1 indoors and one 3D,
Indoors just the belt and a 4 tube quiver with one big pocket down the side with pen holder and a note pad holder and a double pocket up near the belt and a hook on the belt.
3D almost the same but with a release hook on the quiver, Padded belt, tool pouch on back, drink holder also and clip for the quick stand.

she charges extra for added spaces :)
I agree though. 100.00 would be pretty reasonable for a customized quiver designed exactly as I want it... what would be really nice is addable or removable pieces... maybe some sort of clip or hook mechanism to allow adding something?
ex: I don't need a water bottle holder on my quiver if I'm shooting indoor and I don't need a score card if I'm shooting with Bunnyman
