We picked up a few of the new Carter Ember Releases at the ATA show.
I have been shooting it the last couple of days. Boy is this one sweet release. For a thumb trigger it fires like nothing else I have shot. Almost to the point, the trigger feels light. However, they give you 5 different weight springs to choose from. This allows you to customize the trigger tension to your liking.
This release has so many features and can be shot so many ways that it is crazy. We have them on our online archery supply (http://shop.3dshoots.com) store if you're interested.

Boy, the batch we brought back from the ATA show didn't last long. We sold out very quickly. Hopefully we will get more soon from Carter.

Right now I say the Ember. However, I do not have a SuperX to test with yet. Hey Copper John, you listening... I need a SuperX for review purposes.:D

Which would you recommend between the Ember and the Chocolate Addiction? Thanks!

Right now I like the Ember better. But, for a combination target/hunting release, I would choose the Chocolate.

Beginner,
If you have any problems with a Carter product, give them a call. Their warranty service is top notch. They will either help you fix it, if it's a simple adjustment or have you send it to them for repair.
Usually a problem like this is from incorrect adjustment of the travel screw.

Chris, keep us posted on the SuperX, as to when you can get them and how much they will cost, or if you can just get one to try out, let us know what you think of it. Thanks!

Thanks Chris.
Actually, I have contacted to Carter and they also asked me to send it to them for repairing. Unfortunately, I'm in South East Asia. So, the shipment cost is too high for sending it back to them. :)
I will try to adjust travel screw as your advice. Thanks again

A little update on the Ember....
Well, the supply that we picked up at the ATA show were gone in a flash it seems. Even the guys that came to the shop all bought them. There is something about this release. It is my current "go to" thumb trigger.
Way to go Carter.
I wrote a short review and posted in the reviews section
