When I nock my new arrows, I get this click noise. Any suggestions to get rid of that click, before I change my nocks? :noidea: :frusty:
Thanks!

QSA 09-24-2007, 06:46 PM try this when you nock it up before the click put your finger and thumb on the nock and pull it on. Ronhop 09-24-2007, 07:43 PM You can take a nail file/emery board and smooth the inside of the nock groove. Rub the file PARALLEL to the arrow shaft, the way the nock snaps onto the string. Sometimes there is some mold flashing around the string groove. And, not every string/serving job has exactly the same diameter. Sometimes you have to adjust the nock for your setup. Too tight is good because you can adjust it. Too loose is not good because you can't adjust it without re-serving the center serving, minimally. Play around with one arrow/nock and experiment. I like my nocks to fit pretty snut so they click a little. jt13077 09-24-2007, 08:26 PM Thanks for the input! |
