by the time I can pull my bow back again it will be too late for the early season, and I am not going to spend 68 bucks for 2 days of hunting....


so I guess I will have to sit this season out.....

the story.....

for the last 4 years, whenever it starts getting cold in the fall, I have issues sleeping through the night, my middle fingers on both my hands fall a sleep and feel like someone is stabbing them w/a poker.....

then it seems to get better until the following year.......well this year the pain is extra bad, and seemed to start alot earlier, and is lasting extra long...:frusty:

went and had an EMG(?) doctor says Carpol Tunnel.....

I am blaming Hustler magazine, :tape:

but the truth is when I was a teenager I lived on a dairy farm (milking 150 cows 2 times a day) and have always tuned wrenches, worked in a garage as mechanic, then for the last five years I have worked on small engines, and run chainsaws everyday(lots of vibration)every piece of equipment that comes in I haveto run thru the computer, then when they have been repaired I haveto write the report on them....

add to that the 50-100 cords of firewood I cut and split and sell every year and well there you go.....

the doctor, was like how could you let it get this bad....he said my symtoms are exactly the way the test shows......

oh and of course the couple of posts I have here dont have anything to do with it.......:D :D

how did the other freaky stuff you had turn out? I stopped taking the pills. The side efects were worse then the problim. And the pills made my indoor score go from 280 to 290 down to 230. So to heck with that

Hel I 44 and docs told me my feet are used up, I have broke my back in 5 places, tennis elbow, one eye has the (we call it) eye ball jelly deterating, bad vision, o yes a ingrown toe nail. lol there is not a place I do not hurt now and then. The only real place it do not hurt in my back.

tennis elbow, left knee, both ankles , samll back trouble on occassions of very strenious work, neuropathy in both feet. Gittin' old is really a blast.

Sorry to hear this. I know your pain I wasn't able to hunt for 3yrs do to a hernia operation. 1 year prior and 2 years after. But it's all good now and I am back in the saddle. Hang in there and don't try and push it to much after surgery.

bunnyman I guess we can cry together. I hurt my left shoulder this past monday. went to E.R. was there almost nine hours. told me it wasnt my heart. I knew that. said to see a orthopedic doctor. cant get a appointment untill nov.7. then he will want to run a bunch of test which will probably take another week. so I guess my hunting season is over to. just hope I can be ready for indoor.:Cry:

I thought I had carpal tunnel a while back...man those tests suck bad! What kind of surgery are you having bunnyman? Hopefully you are getting the endoscopic kind where they don't cut you open! You can fly down to Houston and have your surgery here and you will be ready to hunt in 7 days! This guy came up with this procedure...check it out

This may sound crazy but ask your doctor to put a block in the nerve at least until the season is over.
