Just wondering what arrows everyone is shooting this year.
Anyone still shooting aluminums. I'm switching to carbons for the first time.
I think I am going to try the axis arrows.

I have heard good things and read good things on the Axis arrows. I personally shoot Gold-Tip Pro Hunter's. I have been shooting gold tip arrows for three years now. I am currently shooting on gold-tip's co-op staff and can't complain yet. I would have to say that don't cheat yourself and your trophy's on an inferior arrow.

I'll be shooting Axis 400's this year with quik spins or blazers.
Broadhead will probably be SlickTricks or Magnus Stingers

I decided this spring to shoot CX 300 3dSelects this year, and haven't changed my way of thinking since.
I am happy with my choice, although the axis does seem to be getting the rave for the year.
I currently have them fletched with quickspins, and even though they are a little heavy,I jacked my Foc up to 125 grains.
I Know that these will plow though meat, bone, just fine with tekan expandables and I also will be shooting slicktricks as well.
I guess whatever I decide to pull out of the quiver is what is going to be delivered. But,feel pretty confident in both so far. They shoot absolutely deadnuts at 30 yards, and can't say much for anything past that yet,but will keep experimenting and let you know....

I shoot the cheap arrows and broad heads when hunting in Hawaii because of the lava rock every where. Gold tip Gladiator open to 1-1/2" AND due agreat job for only $6.95 for a pack of three.Easton carbon storm arrows are $39 for 12 arrows on sale at mountain archery. Now i shoot this set up all the time.

good luck and god bless,

Gary.

I will be shooting the same arrow's I've been shooting for 3 season's now . I shoot the Easton Axis S/T 400's tipped with Slick Trick's and fletched with Blazer's. All I can say is that I love these shaft's and they've been an awsome arrow ,so I'm not going to change until something clearly better come's out.
