How can one find the exact draw length for oneself? How much bend should one have in his or her bow arm? I know that this can play a big part in draw length. I was wonder if bending my arm more, and shooting with a shorter length, will prevent me from hitting my heavy hunting coat. Thank you for your time, GOD bless.

For me personally, I like my bow arm elbow unlocked. Also, my bow arm is bent at the elbow with my elbow out and down a little. This is comfortable, and stable to me.

If your bow arm is completely straightened, and your elbow is locked. Your bow's draw length is probably set too long. My opinion. ;)
