I just got a free bow from where I used to work. The limbs are a little mangled and I was wondering if there were cheaper alternatives to the advertised $110 replacement limbs from a website. I live in western NC and am also looking for a place to practice. Any advice would help.

I think thats what your going to pay. Even in ILF limbs $110 is cheap.

Thanks for the advice and yeah I was looking at those limbs. I read a review of the comet XL. It suggested that the limbs were compatible with the entire line. Which would be the best popundage for the price? 35, 30, 25. I'm just practice shooting and have no intention of hunting any time soon. Your advice would be helpful.

I've never had a Quinn in my hands, but have read they shoot pretty well. Which limbs I guess would depend on how strong you are. I would think if you are of average size and strenth you could take your pick.
