If your just buying your first scope...don't buy a high power scope at first or you'll shell shock yourself and get jerky trying to keep the pin on target.

Start out at a lower power and work your way up to a higher power.

Nothin wrong with a classic scope.

I use a Sureloc and I've very happy with it. They are very pricey though as always I would say look for used! You can save several hundred off the price.

Keep in mind that most of the time they don't come with the lense though. Personally I love my 4x yellow tinted lense. I used a 6 power for a while and just did not like it. The 4 yellow is great (for me)

Hey Dred, where did you get the yellow lens for your Sure-loc scope ?
I can't have my bow any different than your's, except for the right hand vs. left hand issue...

    Seriously, I'd love to have a yellow lens for 5 spot. I use a 29mm scope/lens.

    Thanks,
    Ron

My lense is from BullsEye (I think). I got it with the site when I bought it (used of course).

btw - the Radial X Weave Pro's fly amazingly well.

Thanks, I try and check that out. I think a yellow lens would be great with the bluish-grey 5-spot target face.

Here it is. Don't know if anyone has seen one yet, but I have been shootin' one for about 3 weeks now and I love it.

-The blue light only comes on when the bow is level.
-The light can be changed to many different colors.
-It is programed by the shooter for the level adjustment.
-The light can be adjusted to three different levels of brightness.
    -Many lens options.

    So........what-da-ya-think? Larry

I got one of the few made.........I think.
Mine was $140 through a guy named Sam, from my archery club.....but I think he told me they will be $200. I have been shooting a scope forever and I have to tell ya.....this thing is Sweet. The highest quality I have seen yet. Next to my brand new Xtreme.......no comparison, at all.

    This might help
