    Default 82nd Airborne

I got some guts today for a change after shooting some of the new stuff out there...

Ordered a 82nd today in the 'Testarossa' target colors (all black except for red cams and black/red string and cables... very cool).

    70#, 29" draw...

Behave now (Bunnyboy this means you !) , I'll post pics when it comes in, whenever that should happen to be... I'm told about 4-5 weeks...

3D here I come... And classifieds here I come.... And Mr. Posten, here I come...

Have a happy new year everybody !

I was proactively managing the "man law" pic issue...
And I don't give a rats butt about who came out with what colors when...
    Who cares ?

I'm getting a fast as heck 3D bow that shoots really well and if I want to the cams can be anodized black so it could possibly be the longer draw version of the Bunnyboy's Prestige ! The all black thing is pretty cool looking...

I still don't buy the 350 fps IBO on the 82nd though. It's fast but we'll see what happens in the real world. I'm going to need to mess around a bit and see what arrows and such I'll use. I'm thinking of using Easton X7 Cobalts... Anyone have any opinions on that ?

    Thanks,

    29" on the nut...

Yeah, the CXL's are in the ballpark.
I'm just 'trolling' for some ideas.
I can't do much until the bow comes in and I start fiddling with it anyway...

do you think you can shoot a 27" 250 Linejammers /110 grain tips??

PM me if they will work I can loan you some to try and see if you like them......

that way you wont have to buy a whole dozen before you decide wether they will work or not......

What happened to AR? Did I miss a memo somewhere? I actually like them quite a bit and they look insanely cool in my opinion.

Congrats on the 82nd... so what are you selling off to make room for it?

Congrats on the Bow Ron! I actually thought of ordering my 101 in that color only with Black cams for hunting out of the DB, but decided to go with MO Brush. I've had it on order 3 weeks. No word yet!

I'm not selling anything else off. I did sell my Diamond Victory last Spring so the 82nd is taking up that 'position' in the 'lineup'...
I was wanting a 3D bow and when I shot the 82nd I new right away that it would fit the bill. I'm still using my trusty Allegiance and Ovation and don't really have any thought on getting rid of either of those. 3 bows is all I'll likely ever have unless I really do decide to get a recurve to fool around with.

I don't know. I think it will depend on what rest I decide to use. I don't think I'm going to go with a drop away because of the speed of that thing.
I normally use 28" arrows though with a drop away. I don't know if I can use a 27" but I'll let you know when the bow is here and I get a rest/sight mounted on it. Thanks a bunch for the offer, we'll see how the length will work out.
