I tried them this year. It's the first time I ever used a mechanical.
    They worked extremely well.

The arrow traveled almost the entire length of the body from behind the near shoulder to out the back leg, blasting through the bone on the back leg.
A blood trail I could follow without climbing out of my stand!

Oh, and a deer on the ground.

They are AWESOME. I have only used the 3 blade and have been more then impressed. I have heard that the 2 blades are even better, so guess what I am stocking up on for next year. Only 8 months and 8 days to go.

I started out shooting the 3 blade after i shot the first doe in early october I discovered that one of the blades did not engage, so I switched to the 2 blades. The day after Christmas I shot a 130 pound doe the arrow entered behind the close shoulder and exited in front of the far one. The hole was about the sixe of a golf ball. there was no reason to follow the blood trail for two reasons, Fisrt I watched the deer go down ans second the could see the trail as plain as day from my stand. On January 9th came the 3rd deer of the year and 22 yards the fleching hit a twig driving the arrow through both shoulder baldes. the 140 pound doe only ran about 30 yards and tipped over dead. After the great blood trails and short amount of tracking I wont be changing broadheads for some time now.

Looks like a hoyt vectrix and a rage broadhead are a deadly combination.

This was my first year shooting Rage two blades after shooting Thunderheads for 14 years. I love how they fly and the blood trails are sick! My doe was down after 50 yards with entrance and exit holes I could drive a VW Bug through. I'm never going back!
