I'm tired of the archery rat race
It seems like all I do is look for the next best great thing in archery. whether it's the new model of bow or a new release, broadhead, etc. that's gonna make me a great shooter or hunter.......
I've bought 3 bows and probably a half dozen rests and sights to try in the last year, and to be honest, none of them have really got me excited or made me want to shoot every day. It seems like it's all about the equipment, and keeping up with the Jones.
So I'm going old school.........
Tomorrow, I'm going to buy a new string and a dozen arrows for my old Bear Kodiak takedown recurve, and I'm going to devote one full year to shooting it without picking up anything modern with training wheels, or fiber optics, or a dropaway rest, etc.
Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it.........
p.s. if you want to flame me or make fun of me, go ahead, I can take it.......
