    Default Why a string Suppressor?

Ok other than quieting a bow string what are the advantages and disadvantages of a string suppressor. I have never had one on a bow so I am curious...

    gets rid of vibration

    quites the bow

in some cases it acctually makes the bow faster

    more accuracy...

Buy an STS shoot with it for a week and then take it off. You will be putting it back on very quickly. If not Bunny will buy it off you.

Bunny don't need a front mount. Unless he decides to order a DXT also.

I would have to have a front mount for the Parker too as it does not have a rear hole in the riser either... Do they make an STS in chrome?...

I like the idea of the arrow leaving the string at a more consistant point...i also saw a big difference when shooting with a jacket on.....the string doesn't come back and hit my sleeves on the rebound.....other that that...i think they look cool...nothing wrong with a little bling, bling.

The sts stops the string sooner then not having an sts. The longer the arrow is on the string the more time it has to pick up errors or flaws from your form or release. You want the arrow on the string the shortest amount of time possible. So it almost like having a longer brace height when you add one. Hope this helps fiddle, definitely worth trying.
