    Default HHA sight help

ok...I think the new sight I just got in the mail today is broken. I can't seem to tighten the windage bar....is it suppose to tighten via the screw on the top??? it just stays loose...no matter how tight I make the screw, I can still turn the windage knob and move the scope...is it broke?

ok...so the arrow coming from the bottom is what is moving up and down...the arrow coming from the top is pointing at where I am tightening the screw.

Is this a brand new sight or one that someone had, either way in the long run you will be ok. When you have the jam tight be it a knob or the allen set screw your horizontal should stay put even though you can still turn the adjuster there is some give do to the o-ring. If you want you can call them up and ask for Chris. They usually have a no hassle warranty for the life of the sight, Good Luck

    I hope this helps

thanks....not worried about being able to turn the knob. the scope itself is moveable up and down just by touching it with your fingers. I was thinking of trying to close the clamp a bit in the old vice

Also after looking at your pic there are the 2 set screws holding the scope and bracket tight to the main sight bar you can see there are a bunch of holes to where you can raise or lower the scope for your bow so that you will have all of the area on your tape for marks, there is also a small set screw that holds the scope bracket tight to your jam block this you will see by looking in the scope housing area.

the jam block is what moves...not the scope housing. the housing is tight against the jam block.
