I know that Smokes pays attention to them. But I just try to hunt when ever I can.

I definately make it a point to hunt in the morning durning a new moon (no moon). I find that hunting durning a full moon can be tough and lean toward evenings if I can't hunt both. As with most dedicated hunters I hunt when I can and as much as possible but dark nights, especially new moon and cloud cover combined, I'm extra excitied in the morning.
I do not pay attention to Alsheimer's rut forcast due to the fact it is not based on reality.

I just go out and hunt, I'm out there for the fun and the moon phase doesn't change that for me.

I'm not sure how the deer move during a lunar eclipse

There are many stories out there dealing with moon phase but I think just being in the woods with good equipment and a fine tuned aim is the answer. The end result of all the research is no real statistical evidence of mattering.
We hunt here all times of the month and all are productive if you have prepared yourself and your equipment. Scouting, practice, and concealment are the things we worry about here. So get out there and enjoy each day you are able to be afield.

I hunt every chance i get....but will admit that i hate hunting the following morning of a full moon....i perefere it pitch black.I hate it even worse spring turkey season....you have to be carefull crossing any openings or fields cause they'll see you while on their roost.

Looking back through my log book, I seem to see the most deer during the first quarter or 3 quarter moon. Don't know if its coincedence or not. That's just average. I think there is a lot more that goes into play than just the moon. Weather, breading season, food source, pressure,.....
That look on my face is not concern, its shock at your utter stupidity!

Check out Redneckarcher.com. It's an adult archer/hunting site that feels like hunt camp.

For the last 3 years ive takin deer on the first day.
Im in a hunt club with about 10 guys searching the woods so after the first day it gets harder day by day.
