depends on the arrow, the poundage, the tip weight.....didnt you have some issues, with accuracy?? maybe your arrows were to weak or stiff.....

I never cut an arrow till I have run a few programs and check some charts, andthen i start long and slowly take off small amounts untill I get them perfect.......
I cut things up and split them down!

HMMMM the QT 3000 I have prongs set about an inch forward into my riser/sight window and the DZ is behind the riser so I would imagine I could use a shorter arrow but I am not for certain

you may, but if your arrows are flying better and recovering faster you will retain more of the KE that was robbed from you poorly flying arrows, that wernt optimum spine for your setup....

how much KE do you have now???do you shoot sharp broadheads and what do you hunt with your bow??muskox???

I dont know how much I have, I will say 61lbs KE but I believe it is more than that but im sure only by a few pounds. I hunt deer, turkey and I may try yotes as I can hunt them year round. I believe I shot 279 fps at 62lbs with a 27" DL but I may be wrong. next time I go to the range I will get exact figures.
    I shoot Slick Tricks

I want to try the FOB's, I may order a 1/2 DZ maxima 250's and try the FOB's with them and on my 350's to see how my groupings are

if your arrows only weigh 330 grains at 279fps, your KE

    57.92

which is MORE than enough to kill anything you shoot at......
