Slippy, I really have nothing to compare it to, but "I think" you'd do well, if possible, to shoot the PSE Stinger. There's no way I can say it is the "best", because I have not shot every bow on the market. And until someone has, indeed, shot every bow, I can't see how they can come to the conclusion that a single bow is the "best".

I dont tend to bash anyones bow because most people can outshoot me with there bow or my bow so......
Me myself i have only owned two bows, an old beat up PSE and my Mathews. I shot a ton of bows before I bought the one I have now and they all shot well its just that my bow picked me.

Have to agree. I don't feel that Slip or Morgan were "pushing martin" All I could find were them speaking from experience. Just like all I could use was hear-say from one shop owner. Most would agree that Martin make a good bow for under $400, as does PSE and Parker and some others. SO........

I bought my son his parker a couple years ago for about $300, best deal I could find and he loves that bow. I do want to shoot the new Bear Lines also.

Why choose a Mission over a Martin? Resale value. If you are like most people who frequent archery forums, you enjoy playing with new toys every year and Martin bows, quite simply, do not hold their value. Even their supposed high end brand, Rytera, can be had brand new for less than 1/2 MSRP. Just ask Slippy.

How about a Diamond "The Rock"

You can get it ready-to-hunt (sights, rest, case, arrows, quiver, silencers, stab, etc) for $500.

Or they bow itself for under your $400.

Depending on what type of bow-user you are it might fit your needs.

If you're new into bows, might work.

Besides, they're made by bowtech (Diamonds uses single cams, Bowtech Binary, only diff), which is one of the top bow manufacturers.

    $0.02

I'd like to see Elite come out with a sub 4 bow! I'd be snatching up one of those puppies in a heart beat.

Elite is going to be releasing a price point bow this summer. Word is Kevin had to tweak the design to slow it down some. Didn't want it to be faster than the GTO......

Agreed; I would think that would be at the bottom of a list of reasons to buy a particular model.

yeah, if that was the case every one of us would own a Mathews and drive a Toyota pick up.

I like buying stuff that ain't worth a pot to pee in after its a couple years old. Keeps the economy going that way.
