Default Supreme 550 or The Axcel 3000

I am trying to decide which one of these sights I would buy. Please give your opinion of which one and why you chose that one. What was the deciding factor for you to make that choice.

I have a Sure-loc and love it...I have never seen an Axcel sight up close so I don't have an opinion on them yet...but another you should consider is a "Sword"...I've heard alot of great things about them...

The Sure Loc's are second to none, they are just an awsome sight......I would NOT however buy the 550.....you just dont need that much adjustment.........I would go with the 400

I have seen and held the Axcel, and it too is a great sight......

BUT when I purchase my next SLIDER/TARGET.......IT WILL BE a SWORD......

I just got one of their fixed pin sights, and for the quality and price you wont find a nicer sight on the market today......

You get the sight, scope, and light for $300........
I cut things up and split them down!

I have the axcel 3000. It is very smooth and is a high quality sight.
The axcel and sureloc are both top notch.

Brian how is the ease of moving the scope head and the microadjust in the front end on the axcel.

The rapid up/down movement is smooth as glass. All of the micro adjustments
are very nice. The clicks are smooth, yet positive. All of the adjustments
are clearly marked, the machining is typical Tru Ball quality, very good.
One of the reasons I tried the AXCEL is because my buddy shoots a
SURE LOC and it stared rattling like a piece of crap after shooting it awhile.
It doesn't move ,but it is noisy. I've been using mine since late last summer.
So far it's still quiet. If you like the looks of the Axcel I don't think you
    would be disappointed owning one.

I have the 3000 as well. It's actually my second one. No problems here either. You just have to make sure you tighten down all the srews pretty good.
My only complaint about the sight is the position of the 3rd axis screw. It's in a real tight place. TruBall does give you a short allen wrench for the adjustment but it's a bit of a crappy design to have it there.

Other than that, with both sights, I've had no problems. As Brian said, all movements are very fluid.

I had a Sure Loc Supreme 550 as well. The Sure Loc felt a bit more solid over all than the Axcel but I know more than a few that have had trouble with parts wearing on the Sure Loc.

Also, if you're only shooting 3-D the 2000 is more than enough sight. The xtra elavation on the other 2 isn't really needed.
