Talking A little known fact !

Word down at the local wateringhole is the best way to get rid of them yellow jackets in a scenario like yours, '" Longcut " ' is to first make sure the homeowners insurance is paid up and than maybe a little fire will help smoke them stingy critters out !

    ............................................................................ .

They'll be more than yellow jackets looking for a new home !

ooooh yellow jackets............I hate those things, mean little buggers.

Last go around I had with those bugger was in my wood pile. The old lady got a kick out of me dressed up in a pair of insulated cover-alls, heavy gloves, face mask, hat, and safety glasses in 85 degree day pitching wood off the pile trying to get to the nest. Oh were those bugs mad, they was flying into me trying to sting me. HA I should them

its a member of the wasp family. mean little S.O.B's. very aggressive. they are yellow with black stripes. this time of the year they are bad at picnics and cookout. they usually feed on small insects. but Aug Sept. they like sweets. if you dont watch they will get in your food and drinks. a friend had one get in his coke and didnt see it. swallowed it and was in the hospital for 2 weeks.
the only good thing about them is they all die out in the winter except for the queen. spring she will leave and find a new place to start another colony.
