    Default CT Gobbler down!

Got my first gobbler this morning. This was the first year I took turkey hunting seriously.
He came in with another Tom. He was the bigger fo the 2 and gave me a nice slightly qtring shot at 20yds. The Gobbler Getters did the trick as he only went another 20yds and piled up.
First kill with the Katera XL as well. The Primos Groundmax blind proved it's worth today as well. I wish the windows were a touch bigger but for $129 I can't complain!

    Bird weighed in at 21lbs with a 10 1/2" beard and 1 1/8" spurs.

    I'm pretty happy!

That look on my face is not concern, its shock at your utter stupidity!

Check out Redneckarcher.com. It's an adult archer/hunting site that feels like hunt camp.

Actually it's an Eastern with some real light coloring in the tail feathers and tips of the fan.

I never saw an Eastern that pretty before. Are they all like that where you live?

No, that's the odd part. I brought it to my taxidermist and he said he's never seen one taken around here with that coloring before.
Due to the color, first bird and with a bow I'm gonna have him mounted. SHould make a nice edition to my room.
