Updates to 3DShoots.com coming, what do you think?
Well, now that I have time to breathe, I have been coding some changes to the website. There will be a forum upgrade coming soon but right now I'm working on something else on the shoot schedules.
Now, this part it not finished yet but take a look at this map for upcoming shoots....
I plan to change the balloon icon and when you click the balloon, it will open a window showing the club information with a link to shoot details.
what do you think?

That is pretty sweet Chris. Only thing that would be better is if the next shoot date was in the bubble also. I like it though...Pathfinder Arrow Wraps

The map may get a litle crowded if there are a lot of shoots that week, other than that, I like it.That look on my face is not concern, its shock at your utter stupidity!
Check out Redneckarcher.com. It's an adult archer/hunting site that feels like hunt camp.

Great addition to an already awesome site.

OK, I made some more changes.
Do you like it the current way? Need anything else?

Can you make it so that a person can change the map from the next 7 days to the next 14 days?
Other than that, I think it is pretty sweet.Pathfinder Arrow Wraps

i.e. red pin within 7 days, orange between 8 and 14, yellow 14 to 21, and green 21+ days from today? You get location and schedule at a glance.
Taking the icon idea one step further, you could even use a different icon shape for types of shoots: i.e. local clubs shoots, state, national....or ABA, FITA, etc.
I use these methods in reports often at work.

What I am working on right now is color coding based on the sanctioning body.
Each of the following would be a different color
Club Shoots, ASA, IBO, MAC, NFAA, NSGA, R100, etc.
I think this would be better than color coding based on dates. I think the drop down for dates would be more helpful.
But keep posting your ideas. Anyone one else, please post your thoughts.
If you look at it right now, you will see some IBO and ASA shoots listed in the mix that would be a different color.
