Default How many were in poll.

I see alot of military avatars and signatures and was wondering how many were in and in which branches. So I figured I would start a poll. I was USMC '66 thru '70

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    Jesus Christ & The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Some People spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference in the world.
Luckily our Service Men and Women don't have that problem.

    You old jarhead.

I never served. But thank all those who have and are serving at this time. I just don't take orders very well so I thought the military may be a bad decision.

US Navy. Joined in Sep. 1989. I'll let you know when I retire.

I started out riding Submarines, did that for the first 5 years, then I became a diver. Been doing that ever since and have love it almost every second!

If you could listen to their stories with out becoming embarrassed or offended, they were edited.

Michigan Army National Guard 1990-2000. Never was deployed but would have gone had I been called. Got out because of medical reasons. Didn't get a medical discharge, but got out when my time was up. Got hit by a drunk driver in 1998 and was off duty for a whole year. I was supposed to get out in 1999 but my buddies talked me into one more year to see if I would improve, but I didn't. I should have made them kick me out on a medical. Oh well, stupid pride.
