Default New to this site.. I love it!!!

Just wanted to say hello to all members in here and was wondering about getting in to a shooting club in north west Wisconsin? My son and I are new to this sort of thing and are looking for a direction to go in.

    Thanks again, Woodsman

Welcome! I love archery and especially bowhunting. I don't know anything about shoot clubs, here or in Wisconson. I practice year round in my back yard and I have a 10 yard target set up in my garage for bow tuning and days I wan't to shoot when the weather is poor. Hope you keep us posted on your progress and sharing experiences or questions. Maybe try getting aquainted with people in a local archery shop or go to 3D shoots posted on this web sight . Most people I meet into archery are friendly and love to talk about this awesom sport.

I'm detecting a niche market for "target tunnels". Long skinny tents that you can just keep extending like those little cat play tubes...quick setup...different heights. Hrm...as long as you peg em to the ground they'd stay put.

I always thought a target on a track would be thebest way to go.Crank open window- Run the target out- shoot- run the target back in.
Where would America be without the "gun totting redneck"?

I was thinking to block the wind from Slippy AND his arrows.

You could hook up the target to an old reversible drill so you can send it out and back without bumping your elbow...or tiring your bow arm.
