    Default $1300 guaranteed payout

Golden Arrow is hosting a $1300 payout 3-d shoot again only outside. It will be on June 11, so hopefully it won't be nearly as hot as last year. $1000 for the open class and $300 for the hunter. It will be a theater style shoot. Check out website for directions.

Count us in I'm sure we will have a few teams shooting.

Please don't let it be as hot as last year. 98 degrees and no shade makes for some tough shooting conditions.

    what does theater shoot mean?

It means that a gallery (spectators) will be able to see all of the shooting. All the targets will be in one area.

Sounds like a really good time, too bad they don't have anything like that down here in Mo. When shooting in a gallery, it's a whole different ball game. People have a tendency to get a bit nervous when they have a bunch of folks watching.

Shot in the Bass Pros Shops Indoor Pop-Up 3D World Championships a few years ago, and believe me when ya have about 1000 people in the stands and TV camara's going, it's hard to nock an arrow because of the shakes. Then you only have about 8 seconds so you really have to stay focused.

MoBowman, we shot this tournament last year. These guys have the nicest club you have ever seen. Great people, great fun, and they are giving away money. What more could you ask for.

However, It was like 97-98 degrees last year. Hopefully it will be a bit cooler. I'm gonna try to get a bit more of the prize money this year!

How does this shoot work? Is it best arrow per team or do you add up your scores? Do you shoot with your partner? Does the open and hunter class shoot at the same time?

You shoot with your partner on the same target. You can discuss yardage with your partner and the high arrow between you counts. They scored the 14 rings last year. It's a blast let me tell you.

I'm not sure how they are going to break up the classes. Maybe conquest will jump on here and explain it. Otherwise, just send him a PM.

The 2 classes are going to shoot together. We have 30 lanes and each team will have a lane. The teams will a pass there card to the left and that's who will keep your score. Hope you can make it. The shoot is a great time and it's not supposed to be a scorcher like last year.
