man guys i finaly got to hunt (for axis deer) and i saw one up in the brush then, she started to come out and when she came out and gave me a shot, i drew back and and released MISS right over the back she ran off. it wasn't cool

I prefer to do my missing by shooting underneath. BTW; noticed your signature lines - the Magnum on your bow denotes the limb type, not the model.

I missed a broad side, wide open walking shot in the middle of a two track my first year back to bowhunting, while still hunting. I heard the 4 point comming a full minute before the 30 yard shot. The arrow wen't over his back and stuck in an oak 15 yards beyond. When I paced it off, I realized it was only a 20 yard shot! 3D and practice has helped some with judging distance, but I'm still not where I'd like to be. Progress, not perfection.
