Try the Viper Pro Predator, 4 pins with great fiber optics. You can get just about any lense you want with it also. Some of the best prices I have found are right here at 3dshoots store and shipping is very fast

Not trying to highjack the thread, but has anybody tried the .010 pins, is there a big (or small ) differance? How about a pic of the two side by side. Or in the same sight holding it say about arm distance away?
I cut things up and split them down!

I'll tell ya what, them .019 pins are pretty small for this ole fart to see as it is. I can't imagin what those .010 pins would be like. I would like to see how bright they are. I really wonder......is smaller better?

Tell ya what I don't like about the Trophy Ridge, now this is just me, I'am not bashing the sight at all because they make a very good sight, I'am just not nuts about the wrap around fiber optics that they and several other manufactures have out. The whole thing about a bright pin is how much the fibers gather light (now TR has some bright pins but not the brightest) and when your wrappin the fibers they are only actually gathering light from part of the fiber.

A few years back HHA made a sight that had the straight fibers and they were the brightest pins out there (without useing a light) but they quit makeing them after a couple of years. Until Viper came out with their sight with the 7.25" straight fiber, I have not been able to find another sight like that HHA Ultralight site. I also thought that the TR sights were a bit heavy.

Now like I said, it's just my opinion, I'am not bashing TR at all, I was honestly fixin to buy one myself until I found the Vipers. You can see the pins even after you can't make out your target in the woods in the evening, without useing a light. If I remember right the Viper is coming out with a micro adjust site in the very near future and I believe that is the one that you can get the .010 pins. Send Chris a PM and see when he is going to get them in stock.

Look at it this way .010 would be basically half the size of .019 pins.
We have had them in the shop. They are bright and make a great 3D sight.

So for 3-d you can't use the Surelock type sights or what? Do I need to get a different site with pins or what> if I deceide to mess around with that?

I have a spot hogg-it with .019's for 3D and i love it.. also have a cobra sidewinder lx with .019 on my hunting bow and like it... the hogg is just a better built site, its tough and just one of those things that you get what you pay for.
i think the .010 pins are neat, just not for my older eyes, too hard to see something that small.

I think what he's talking about is the class he's in!
In IBO the bowhunter class can only have 4-fixed pin's,no more but you can have less if you want to thats up to you, they cant be moveable & no more than a 12inch stabilizer.
IN your case Like in mine, you have to shoot open class, which is anything!
This is the IBO rules stated at the club i shot at yesterday.
The club i shot at sat. was ASA which i didnt like to much.
The only differance i found is the IBO club restricts targets on bowhunter to 40 yds & open or pro class 50yds.
The ASA had no restrictions on yardage, the furthest was 58yds,
The average was 47yds i thought this was streaching things out abit in the woods with branch's and trees up aginst the kill zone, crazy course.

WOW, doesnt sound like the ASA's we have around here.. they are pretty clear with yardage maximums.. i wish we had some IBO shoots though, exept i would have a problem with that 4 pin rule

    Default Ibo & Asa

These rules are at different clubs & all clubs are different.
The womans class all shot the same because the class yesterday was so small, 6 shooters
I seen them shootin with all kinds of rigs.
There shoots were all from the womens stakes wich were about 15yds shorter than pro-class.
1 lady shot a perfect 300 she had a awesome rig.(mathews target gold)
    I shot pro, came in 4th out of 22 with a 285
