I told mrs. pilot not to let little boys get bored...
Decided I needed a project, so i went out and got me a dozen CF X-Weave Pro 200's, a dozen GT Ultralight 400's, some new 100gr G5 Tekan II (never shot expandables b4, but they looked cool ), ordered me some FOB's, and pm'd a couple recent ideas to mr jcmorgan.......
not gonna bored now 'cause i got some testin to do.
Oh, and mrs. pilot had to ride along during my shopping trip yesterday, so she is now trying to decide between a new DXT, Katera, or Equalizer. Guess ya can't let little girls get bored either......

woo-hoo testing, always fun...Dood shoot us some video,we wanna see too....
The only thing that is keeping me from trying some FOB's is,,the rite rest that falls fast enough...I have seen guys shoot with fall aways and they all dont seem to fall at the same speed, some seem to fall faster than others...Is that because of the harness and where its tied in at?
Whats a good simple fall away rest that you would recommend? anyone can tap this question...To become a Bow Hunter, you must become a Archer first !!!

I haven't had any problems with my QAD, seems fast enough but i haven't been shooting it long. It all has to with the placement of the pull rope on the QAD as there are no other adjustments.
The only ones i have experience with are the QAD, Bo Doodle, and the Limb Driver. I shoot the QAD because of the full containment when locked in the upright position before the shot. That's a great plus for hunting in my book.

I'm pulling 66# on my general, so these are gonna be just right...
GT Ultralight 400, 85 grain fieldtip, 2" blazers, arrow wrap, cut to 27".....336gr (5.09 gpp)
X-Weave Pro 200, 85 grain fieldtip, 2" blazers, arrow wrap, cut to 27"....332gr (5.03 gpp)
Now I gotta wait for the FOB's to get here so i can shoot 'em all through a chrono and group test 'em....should have ordered FOB's ahead of time!

Are you using 85gr BH's Pilot?? I see you are shooting 85gr. FP's. Just curious.

I bought some 85gr Montecs a while back so i could play around with the FOC on my setup. My Beman shafts balance right in the recommended sweet spot with 85gr heads. Haven't shot anything with them but they have a 1" cut. Trying to get a pig with them b4 deer season to see if they work well 'cause they do fly good.
I'll prolly go back to 100gr Montecs or the Tekan II's i just bought.....but this is all about experimenting with the whole speed vs. KE debate
