no didnt get pics of me with her whole, Didnt have my camera in my pack and we just went ahead and quarterd her up and took the first 2 loads of meat out, the same night, what we couldnt get out, we left in game bags set over logs so the cool air could get under the bags also, The next morn when i went in for the rest of the meat, I did kinda try to put the hide back over her and coverd up some of the mess with the pack frame and my coat. Got a few pics of her like that, not what i wanted really. I will take the film in tomorrow and see how they turned out. If their not to messy ill post them up.

Congrats on the kill. It sure would be sweet to go Elk hunting. I guess I just need to move west, now if only the wife would agree to that.

Deer season opened Sept. 6th here in Kentucky. It's been pretty hot. Not much activity.

we have 2 seperate seasons, the first one already opened and should be closing soon, the second one will open in Nov. or Dec but can't remember for sure. I plan on going in Dec. if I am lucky to get to go at all this year.

Aint nothing you can shoot that cannot be hunter with a bow. Crow came into season in early aug, and work has kept me off my rail swamps, but the 2 times I've gone the action has been smokin'. Those clappers are realy loving the area this year
