Default custom strings vs. oe strings

I need a new string/cables for my mathews switchback. should i go with the OE zebra baracuda or go with something like winners choice, stone mountain or wolf den?

what do the custom makers offer me besides choice of color?

Choice of serving material (HALO vs. #3D for end serving)

Attention to detail. Custom builders do not pump out 1000 strings a day and pay more attention to the finer details.

I have also been thinking of what strings I should put on my prestige, differnet brand or zebra.......? I like the performance of the zebra with regard to peep twist and accuracy. But they seem to never stop stretching. I have at least 700 shots and the cam rotation has been adjusted after 300 then again at 500 and 700. I noticed that the bus cable has stretched a little bit again. I can tell you that almost all bowstrings are made with the same material (BCY). The difference is not in material so much as it is in how they are assembled. How much stretch is applied and how they marry strands together etc. When I was out to the IBO worlds I got to talk with most of the Mathews Pro staffers and got alot of input on strings. I was thinking of going with Winners choice because of the anti stretch qualities they claim to have. I was informed that they stretch worse than they use to and in alot of cases more than Zebra. Alot of the guys mentioned that America's Best bowstrings are in fact the best they have shot. I was also told Proline bowstrings are good. I have also heard good things about Ranger Bowstrings. If you get strings other than Zebra let me know how you like them. I am curious so I have a direction to go when I need to get new strings.

Yah Ive put ALOT of shots through my bow, I go and shoot whenever im bored so ill say anywhere from 1500-2000 shots over the last couple of years, each season i have to change my set point b/c the peep site keeps moving on me.

What about the cable? is it the same with the string?

Ill check on a few of the manufacturers you've suggested thanks.

I have used All the strings out there, I used winner choise, Vapor trails, zebra, Advanced coustom string. And now I have a set of Ranger coustom bowstrings. and with out a doubt I think Ranger coustom are the best set of strings I have ever owned, I had no problems getting my bow to speck with them they shoot great and look even better.
