Default Twins first day of season

Took my 12 year old twin boy's out first day of bow season and here is the results. A spike and a 4 point down by 8:00 AM first day Eric used a Bear Odyssey 2 at 24" and 40# with a 3 blade 75 grain Muzzy to go through both shoulder blades. Kyle used a ten point crossbow and a Allen Mechanical broadhead to kill his. Both deers were down in less than 60 yards.

    Default Bear Odyessy

Me and some members got together and purchased a Bear Odyessey for a kid that had autism and thats a really nice bow.

Once again it kids that are the future of hunting. Hunting license make more sense than video games.

    Default another thing

The commercials on TV say the entrance hole of mechanicals are small and I don't agree with them. Look at the deer on the right side of picture. It was shot with a generic mechanical broad head from Walmart. They are Allen brand that sell for $10 for 3 arrow heads. The side showing is the entrance hole. We have been shooting these for years with no problems and they are cheap. Eric was using fixed blade muzzy on the other deer because he is only pulling 40# bow and fixed blades penetrate better. I used to shoot the $10 a shoot broad heads but don't anymore since me and a couple friends started shooting the cheap ones with good results I figured why waste the money.

They never smile for photos. They did after the we found the deer. They was also tired from getting up early and driving to the woods then home. They then had a baseball game to end the day.
