Well bow hunters, what have you noticed about the bucks in Northern Illinois? I have noticed and increased movement in Mchenry County starting November 5th. In two days we saw 5 different bucks milling around in the daylight hours. (morning) One of which came right in to a grunt and was harvested about 5 yards from the tree. Saw two other mounters on the 5th. I saw a good one in Winnebago County last night around 4:15 PM working a scrape and spreading scent all over the trees. After that, a smaller buck came out and the big guy was not disturbed with another buck around. Haven't seen to many does lately, do the big boys have them rounded up or haven't they started coming into estrus yet? Hope the later cause I am off next week.
