    Default Had my moment tonight...

Was playing with my new ST-360 tonight and I put a different peg on it...

Well I was drawing back and POP...punched myself in the face and launched an arrow over 100 yds into the pasture...

Got a nice IDIOT mark on my face.

I then put the other peg back on and put the bow away for the night...

It's amazing how quickly it happens and how much force is involved. I've done that a couple of times playing with the sensitivity of my release.

    It hurts.

awww, Nerdy i hope you didn't mess up that pretty little face of yours. But, things like that do happen. I remember this past spring. I didn't want to walk in the snow so i put the target in the garage and was shooting from the road into the garage. All was going well and then for some reason she went off unexpectedly, wack i got a peep hole in the back wall of the garage. Not really all that cool but whatever. Anyway how do you like the 360? I want to give it a try. Bring it to joe's for me. Jim and i are going to shoot tomorrow . i think he said you and hilltophunter are busy. Oh yeah if you go back to the pinky boss and want to sell the 360 let me know.

Draw off to the side and then bring it to your anchor point. That way, if your release goes off prematurely, it'll be a whif instead of a smack in the kisser.

It'll be hard to pry that 360 out of my hands...I was doing very well with it until I had my ordeal...

I hope you didn't ruin your modeling career Nerdy...

I punched myself in the nose once trying to teach my wife how to shoot a recurve lefty...

Try not setting your release so hot.
