    Default 0.10 pins

I have been thinking of going to 0.10 pins for next year. If you have them what do you think vs 0.19 and what sights would you recommend? I currently have Trophy Ridge 5 pin. I don't like the blur out I get with 2-5 pins.

I am a big fan...but they are pretty small. I have a Sword sight and I love it.

Default I would recommend the Sword or Viper

Both are used alot by tournament archers.

Spott Hoggs are very popular as well. Not cheap.

For 3D I use a Spot Hogg-it 5 pin, .010 pins in in green and blue. I have trouble seeing the red and yellow, they tend to halo.

I can't use .010 for indoor, i switched to .019 and can do ok, but i think i really need to go bigger, maybe .029.

I love the hogg-it sight, i have 2 of them.. they never come loose, and i've never had a problem with them..the pin adjustment is soo simple...
you can get a good used one from $100-130.. I bought mine from DB last year and wouldn't trade it for any other kind.

oh, and if anyone has one with .019 or .029 pins, and they are thinking about selling, PM me. I am looking for one for my hunting bow.

    Default blurr

Do you get a lot of blurr with the vertical wire on the Spott Hogg?

I tried a green .010 on a Viper sight. Bought it new from Viper.

    Installed it. Couldn't see it.

Put it back in the original package.

If someone wants it I will mail it to them. Free. First to PM me.

No you really dont get any blur from the line hard to notice it even being there. But great for holding on center when gapping.

I have shot spot hogg for quite a few years now and I love them, This year i bought a couple different sword sights, and there equally as nice and for the price there amazing.

I love the .10 pin I shoot 3d and hunt with them. As far as indoor goes make sure you have a light.

I have a 0.010 size pin for my 60 yarder on my Sword Apex 3rd Plane Micro. I really like how I can use a smaller target to aim at without covering the entire target.

.010 pins rock. I shot them last year, and shot well with them. If it wern't for having to wear glasses, I'd shoot them all the time. I went back to .029 this year, and my shooting stayed the same. So if you can see them, shoot them.

I shoot a .010 pin and like it. It alows you to see more of the spot you are shooting at for more precise aiming. If you use them for hunting you will need a light to make sure you can see it in low light. I also use it cause my eyes aren't that great and any pin no matter the color or size halo's on me so the .010 pin has a smaller halo so I can again aim more consistantly.

I tried them and to me they were no advantage. They were just too small for me. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the individuals eyes.
