Default Tmax27 gave it his best shot

We had a great time sharing the woods today. Saw a few deer dispit the hot and windy weather. I decided this evening to just go sit in the tree and video him shooting. His shot was a little off mark. We never recovered this deer. Shot looks like he hit the front shoulder in front of the Vitals. Realize this was his first time ever shooting a deer. He was nervous but made a good effort.

His the video you be the judge.

The deer's reaction also seems to indicate that it was a front shoulder hit. I hate that you didn't find the deer but remember in nature nothing is wasted.

I went back this morning and searched for awhile. Did not find her. It happens. Still a fun day and made a new friend. Tmax27 new to this bowhunting. I told him learn evertime you go into the woods.

    Arrow A Big Thanks...

    To DB!!!

I had a great time Saturday sharing the woods with DB!

Telling ya'll that this man has a ton of knowledge to feed on and sure knows how to get people on the deer. Learned a bunch about hunting and a even some pointers equipment wise to help put the odds in my favor.

Not making any excuses, I gave it my best shot. Was nervous as all get out, but like I said, learned a bunch to help me the next time one steps out and I take the shot.

    Thanks again Daniel

We did have a blast. Now if we would have just stayed in the tree we could have shot the next does coming in. While we were looking for his deer two more came to the Acorn tree. Were diffiantly going to do this again.
Always more fun hunting in the same tree. Good thing we had a big tree, we are both not excactly small fellas. Hopefully the weather will be better and cooler. Really nice getting to know you. One never knows when he invites a totally stranger hunting.

Seriously, this acorn tree was being used to death. Three different times we had deer coming in to that tree. Bad thing was, twice we as on the ground

"Good thing we had a big tree, we are both not excactly small fellas."

Indeed it was great gettin to meet you and hunt!!! Definately looking forward to doing this again

"One never knows when he invites a totally stranger hunting." True. My new bride was a little apprehensive. Glad ya'll got to talk a bit yesterday.
