Swooping arrow flight
Hello. I am new to this site. What would cause my sons arrows (during flight) to swoop or not fly straight? They are clearing the rest so I am not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

is it like a car fish tailing from side to side
or like a porpoise going up and down in the water
you can tell by standing right behind him and watching the back end of the arrow

www.eastonarchery.com. It's a .pdf file you can download for free which is very good reading and talks about arrow flight, arrow/point weight/arrow spine, bow tuning, nock point and rest adjustment, etc.... It also covers different shooting equipment and styles like recurve/traditional, coompound and finger/release shooting styles.
