    Default home made lighted nocks

Anybody made these off the you-tube video? Just would like some input. It looks soo much better than the 10-20 bucks each for lumenocks or firenocks.

    Thanks

Why do you need lighted nocks ?

It defintely affects your FOC and arrow spine and I'm not sure what the real benefit is.

    Why sweat it ?

I made a couple and they seem kind of tricky to make. And they always seemed to turn off upon impact of the target. Never used them for hunting, bought some tracer nocks.

Skip it, By the time you add labor and the frustration of gluing yourself together or to somthing else just go to the lumenoc websight and pruchase a three pack for 25 dollars. Alot cheaper than going to the ER to get unglued.

I made them with little fuss and at only 4 bucks for Thrill bobber lights no big deal, now I dont hunt with them I use them in the back yard to thrill the kids and they do look cool when the sun is going down.

I bought three and only had one that would work. Then it turned off with a pass through shot. I will try tracer or make my own next time.

If the gals you hang out with dig lighted nocks then you need to hang out with the chicks I hang with....

Yes . I made these nocks. One of the things I have noticed, make sure that the lower nock half that is glued to the lights battery fits very snug or there is a possiblity of them shutting off on impact or breaking the bulb off the battery.
As for throwing the F.O.C. off I went with 125gr broadheads instead of 100gr and my arrows fly great and paper tune with a bullet hole.

I would recommend to make one and try it. I only have about $3.00 each in mine. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

    P.S.
Flo-Orange nocks with the red bobber light seems to be the brightest.
