Arrow alignment to rest position?
I was wondering what is the actual correct position of the rest on a bow. They have a threaded hole for the rest but do you align the arrow center to the whole or arrow aligned on top of the whole. How does the manufacturer center the arrow to rest machined hole?? I set it up with arrow above hole and dial in nock point. Bottom of arrow exactly to top of machined hole for rest, is this correct? Just looking at the little things and curious to what is the correct answer. Trying to super tune my bow, sorta. Trying to dial my bow in to compensate for my human errors. I need all the help I can get! I use bubbles and laser to set up arrow for initial and then shoot. I do paper tune and see if I'm in the ball park and watch my arrow flight. Check cams and all those little things and go on from there! Just curious??
