    Default My Kansas Booner

Up until the day I shot this we had the worst weather possible. One day it was warm with rain and wind. Then a little front moved in and got the deer moving. I let him walk at 54 yards because I was unsure of his maturity level. Sometimes they look huge but are small bodied. Then he came back into view at 26 yards thats when I let the arrow fly. He only went 150 yards on a down hill charge. I couldnt have been more happy with a deer like this He green scored 175 4/8

The pics do not do this buck justice. It has junk on the bases...thick...long tines...just a perfect 10.
