    Default Feeling better tonight

Just got in, (after a few celebration beverages), helped a co-worker with his first deer. He took a nice big doe. I'm betting she goes 125+. I helped him get and set-up a bow, arrows, heads, the whole deal. He had been out a few times in past years with a borrowed bow, going fingers. No more! He smoked her with a Mathews and a slick trick. He did good, made the shot, watched and listened. Then called me and another friend. Of course she had to go 75-100 yards, but not hard to follow. She actually made it easier for use, going right towards his house. It does'nt get any better than that.

I hear ya. But it was good for him to get in on following up with tracking/trailing, cleaning, and such. Thats alot to take in for someone who has never done it. I did all the hard stuff and let him do most of the dragging I even offered to remove the stink glands that run along the spine, but he'd heard that one before.
