    Default First of many questions

Ok, things really have changed over the years since I have been out of the sport. When I lived in Fresno, Ca and Cleveland, Oh I was fortunate to have a couple of good well stocked shops with ranges to work with. Unfortunately here in this part of NY there is "SQUAT" within any decent driving distance of me. The one shop nearby that is a dealer for Mathews does not seem to have actual hours since no matter what time I call I get a machine saying leave a message and someone will call back. So far no one has.

So my first question is to ask how do you know what equipment to buy if you do not have a shop where you can actually see, touch and try it? I am thinking of setting up a new bow for indoor but from what I have read many indoor rigs are set up differently than 3D rigs. I suppose my current 3d rig would work, but I would like to have a dedicated bow.
So can anyone tell me what the hot items are in the way of sights, rests, and stabilizers for indoor spots? Also links to manufacturers listings would help as well.

I do know about many of the online retailers including Lancasters, Bowhunters Warehouse and Keystone but any others would be appreciated.
    Thanks All.

Thanks for the link the BrokenArrow. I've dealt with flying arrow in the past at their Carmel store which is about 9060 - 90 minutes away depending on traffic.
Nice to see they opened a store closer, Wappingers is about 40 minutes away. I'll have to make plans to go check them out.

BTW, where in "Hudson Valley" are you? I'm in Chester.

Yep, been there before they moved. The store was the size of my living room and stocked a few rods n reels, a few arrows and broadheads. He moved the store into his garage and carry's very little inventory. If you want anything you need to order it and pay shipping.
