It's Red already, he can just slap the puppy across the top of the roof/trunk or hood.

You'd be amazed at what can fit into the trunk of that little car with proper packing! Our last long weekend I crammed (4) 6 Gallon carboys full of (24 Gallons) of wine, over 200 pounds of fresh produce, sleeping bags, a 6-person tent as well as several suitcases and rucksacks full of enough clothing for 3 ladies for a 4 day weekend!

Ohh, and it still pulled 50Mi./Gal. fully loaded on the freeway and 40Mi./Gal on the back-roads!

If I need that much room I have a 1988 Volvo 760 Stationa Wagon (with 300,000+ miles on it) with a cargo box on top and trailer hitch on the back of it. (When you are in the military, you learn how to maximize your packing space!-)
