Default Who is shooting the new classes at ASA K45yrd and K50yrd classes?

Anyone on here going to shoot either the K45 or K50 class in 2009 at the ASA pro-ams?

I look forward to seeing how many shoot the known distances.

Ill be shooting the unknown and simms as always.

Think I am going to shoot the K50 in 2009. Still, trying to decide, but most likely K50 or Semi Pro.

Richard, you will do good in either one. I think I'll hang out in Open A again.

    Default Known Distance

After talking to a lot of shooters here in Texas and around the country I think the K45 in particular might well be the biggest class at ASA Pro Ams.

We are going to have 9 North Texas qualifiers this year. We are going to have the K45 class at all the qualifiers and at the state championship. We will have the K45 class shooting on Sunday only unless the host club can set an extra 15 targets.

I know ranges are struggling trying to set up all the classes, but only having it one day really limits participation for those that use Sunday as day for church and family of for those that would like to carpool, but everyone else is shooting Saturday?

What about setting up two stakes on the known side and the let the K45 guys shoot the same 10 targets twice, just from two different stakes? One qualifier they could shoot a specific ten targets and and at another qualifier they could shoot a different set of 10 targets, that way they get a chance to shoot at all of the different targets. Just an idea.

IF I get to shoot an ASA tourny this year, and that's a big IF,then it's the K45 class for me all the way...I would actually like to shoot the K50 but I ain't about to pay those kind of entry fees...
