Default Best new 3D bow under $1000.00

I am looking to buy a new 3D bow this year, I have looked at alot of new bow and was wondering if I have missed any.

What I need is a smooth draw, and good speed from a bow 60lbs and 28to28.5 draw. I ask cause any way I look at bows I have to drive 1 hour in every direction to shoot 1 wiether it be Mathews, bowteck, eliet ect.
So lets not open a can of worms, Just give me a opinion.

I shoot IBO, and looking at the IBO site I am either going to be in MBR or Advanced hunter or mabey step to Open hunter class.

I would look at a new X-Force, Monster or Elite's line of bows. You can never have to much speed and if you do a heavy arrow will slow it down. Hard to make a slow bow shoot fast and keep it accurate and quiet though!

I don't think I'd do the Monster...too short of a brace height...but I would look into an X-Force 7, with a 60# cam and limbs...then just choose your arrow size/weight to get it at the speed you'd like. That way you should be able to shoot anywhere between 270-320 depending on the size of arrow. I'm not a big fan of the ATA on the X-Force, but she's fast, which is always a benefit for 3-D.

I have no idea where you are going with this.... Why would class have anything to do with the purchase of a particular bow model?... Other than speed being an issue to compensate somewhat for missed judged yardage I can't see a difference in bow models from Hunter Class to Open... Now accesories from class to class yes, but not the bow...

do me a favor......take your Prestige, put a long stabilizer and v-bars on it......now you have fast shooting stable bow.....great for 3D, right???

ok now take away the v-bar, and put a 12" max stab on it......bet its NO WHERE near as stable.....BECAUSE its 35"ATA

now take a bow like the Conquest 4 (long ATA but much slower) it would make a better bowhunter class bow, as its more stable with out added stabs

the game of 3d is ruled by being perfect at judging yardage or have a bow fast enough to make up for a lack of yardage judging.....

I dont know of too many long ATA speed bows out there.....

long ATA bows have more mass and there for are much more stable when it comes to left and right tipping when on target......

DB, I am looking at that Bow what speed you getting out of it?

I shoot a 362 grn arrow, I dont want to add v bars, but as far as a stablizer I am open to suggestions. I use a 12in now to keep me in Advance Hunter- I use 2 in vanes/feathers.

I am a big fan of BH so I dont want to go lower than 7 if I dont have to.

Buy a used apex 7 for about 4 bills,,, you will have a $1200 bow for a 1/3 of the price and it will perform as well or better than any bow on the market.
