Bowtech Tribute testing today.
I got to spend a little time with a Tribute today. And yes, I threw a biscuit on it for testing. Got bullet holes with 3 minor rest adjustments.
The bow is 29" draw, smooth mods, 70# bow set at 65#. I grabbed an Axis 400 that weighs in at 401 grains. Now in theory, this arrow would be weak for this setup but it tuned just fine.
I was surprised when I zipped it through the chrono at 281fps. I wonder how much will be gained with the fast mods. Just seemed really fast to me for the weight and draw length.
Should make a very nice hunting bow. At these speeds choosing broadheads will be interesting.

Ok, got spend about 1/2 hour shooting this bow today. Yes the whisker is still on.
Got it sighted in at 20 yards and just started shooting groups. Broke two nocks on the Axis shafts. Not bad. The bow was too light for me so I threw on a Vibracheck Omega and it's much better.

Those Tributes are very nice bows. I have never shot one with the fast mods but just loved the smooth mods. Keep testing that bow Chris and give us all the nasty details.
Now, as far as the rest, excellent why mess with success when you are shooting the best(WB) Just think of all the wasted time tuning those crappy drop aways and then you have to worry about malfunctions. All other rest companies should just fold up and go home(drop away from the face of the earth )

How do you sleep at night, Frank? I only ask cuz all the nightmares you must have about the big mean dropaway comming to get you, have clouded your judgement......
Chris please for the love of dropaways, put something else on there and stop torturing me......
Did you hear that guys he has good groups at twenty yards, he shot five arrows, 4 times (speculation of course), any one care to guess how many times he had to refletch and how long it took....I mean you have strip down time, then there is the glueing and of course there is the drying time for the glue......I cut things up and split them down!
