A factory installed sts would have been alot easier and alot more effective..JMO.

Actually I think then they would have to completely change the current Reezen riser which one would think would be much more expensive than a new brass dampner

As long it fixes vibration issues that some have had, it's a good thing. It also shows that they continue to listen to customer/dealer feedback to make a better product.

Because unless you'vve been living under a rock for the past 4 yrs or so you'd know that an sts is an important piece of equipment..esp on a speed bow like this one,....numerous mfctrs are putting them on thier bows as std equip...all except for Mathews....

I have put an STS and other variations on the Reezen and it doesn't change the "Hmmmmm"

I believe the "Hmmmm" people are feeling in this model is from the riser, not the string...hence the heavier damper.

How do you have your sts positioned?...lightly touching or a few hairs away from it?

It's kinda weird hearing all this about silencing the reezen. Mine barely makes a sound. Quietest bow I've ever owned.

I tried the STS on the Reezen and it still did not get rid of the aftershot buzz from what I am told,I have not seen it so it is a rumor, but the person told me the new Harminic Stabilizer as they call it completely got rid of the buzz.

We tried setting it up both ways and still had the same result. I am looking forward to checking out the new weight to see how that works.

How do I protect my bow from contracting this?

I've set up several of the 6.5 and with a 450 grain plus arrow I feel no vibration at all and hear no hummm... perhaps the bow is simply telling y'all something..

no Chris... we haven't gotten any in as yet... when they do come in I'll put one in a bow and see how light I can go on the arrows before the bow starts talking to me..

I won't have to worry, by the time my Reezen gets to me it will have the new Harmonic Stabilizer installed already. The one I shot wasn't bad at all, and this will make it even better.
