FOBS in 3D
What is everyones opinion of using FOBS on a 3D course? If you put an arrow in the 12 or 14 with a FOB on it, then everyone else is taking a big chance of getting kicked out by shooting at that particular 12 or 14.

I'd personally make it a point to bust them up given the chance. .not a fan of them in 3D...jmo..

I should have worded the question better. Do you think that FOBS should be allowed in 3D tourements?

I say "If you got em then shoot em". I see no problem with someone using them. But some have to have something to complain about.

i have used fobs in tons of 3d shoot and have never had a a big problem with deflection most of the time u will go right into the wholes in the ring i have seen worse deflection using pin nocks now how many of you guys use those in 3d i bet its alot of you

Shoot 'em if you want to, you paid for them and it's your right to have them busted up as you see fit. I personally don't care if you shoot them. If your fob caused me to get a lower score on one target, I have a feeling that you won't be using them too long, because they will be busted up.That look on my face is not concern, its shock at your utter stupidity!

You may just find that FOBs are a lot more flexible than you think. They will not deflect an arrow like a pin nock will. I have had three arrows inside of one FOB on a forth arrow and not broke the FOB on that had the other inside of it. Putting an arrow inside another arrows FOB is called a ringer in fob language.Mathews Switchback 63# 29"

If you got'em shoot'em................If I bust one don't get upset you gave me a dang good mark. Some people also hate pin nocks.........I've heard a ton of guys that say they should be outlawed........As well as black vanes, black nocks................................ That's a different conversation

I like them and encourage all the better shooters than myself (everybody else) to use them! A bright FOB can be a real aid to the shooters coming behind it, as it gives them a nice visible point to lock on to..
I know if Ty is on the course, I'm aiming for the Flo.Green FOB!!!SandSquid

I wouldn't have a problem with them in open class...but since there are vane restrictions on Hunter and Adv hunter classes there should also be on FOBs then.
