    Default Draw Length

If my draw length is 27", do I need to a bow that is 26" draw if I'm using a string loop?

Your anchor point will change. A shorter or different style release may be the answer. I wouldn't recomend going more than a half inch shorter than the measured draw length. If you can, go to an archery shop and see if they will let you try several styles of releases and bows. If they don't seem helpfull I'd find a different place to shop, if you can. With so many great bows to choose from these days I value service and integrity far more than brand and fashion. I hope you have fun. I love shopping for a new bow.

Thank you for your help. We have a couple of shops here locally that I will try out.
