I think I get more enjoyment out of shed hunting the older I get. No, it's not because their easier to field dress or haul out of the woods
Thanks for sharing the pictures .........

    Cool Pics Rut!!!!
I have been walking the woods looking for some shed antlers. Just gives me a good reason to spend time in the woods. I was hoping to find antlers of some dear that I let walk this year. Many of those dear will be shooters next year and i think it would be cool to be able to show the progression of a rack year by year.

I too did a little shed hunting today. Found 2 dead deer (One probably hit by car) but no sheds. Might be a little early here in Va. Rut, what state are you in?

I'm in CT.I went out this afternoon and only found an old skull, and leg bone.Awhile later I found a fairly new lower jaw bone from a very young deer.

Dad found one side of a six on the edge of his woods a couple days ago here in east-central Indiana.

Jr. and I just got back from following a couple miles worth of trails. No sheds to be found for us though. Did kick up a couple deer but could only see their tails as they got the heck outta dodge.
