Default Pictures from some 3d shooting today

Had a great time practicing at the Pettigrews earlier today with Lyle Plum and Erin. Special thanks to the Trouts and Coyote Bluff for giving us a place to warm up for Hattiesburg. Thats truly archers helping archers and make me proud of Oklahoma ranges.

Congradulations to Luke Pettigrew for winning today.

Hope everyone enjoys the pictures and gets out on the 3d range soon.

Yeah those pros had it rough yesterday on the range. There were some long shots from their stake. I sure was glad to be walking up to my stake yesterday. There were a few that the distance from their stake to my stake (women's hunter) felt like walking to a different time zone.

I mostly shoot Bowhunter class (35 yards) but every now and then I try shooting The open class (45 yards). The wife shoots the hunter class a lot but if shes shooting one of our NEBA Shoots or like the R100 she shoots from he woman stakes.

Maybe you can ask those in the pictures. I wonder why you ask? Ill be taking a few at Hattiesburg and I hope there this years. Seems many really enjoy them. It is time consuming and often Im out there trying to really work on my shooting. But Im trying share the 3d archery with many who may not be able to get out there on the range.

It just seems like they are always the same. You need to add some spice to them.

Many 3d ranges are the same but if you look and understand 3d. Every shot is different and usually no two shots are alike. Many of the shooters I shoot with are the same guys. Not much one can do about that. Its 3d and its not suppose to be entertaining. Its a challenge and fun time. Most the shooters Im shooting with are serious shooters and work hard to be good at this sport. Most the targets are ASA targets because thats what we shoot.
