    Default Possible Raffle

I am thinking of doing a raffle for a bow....any bow.....$10 a ticket.....100% of proceeds would go to charity for spinal cord research.

There might also be some high end accessories to the bow....still waiting to hear.

Would people be interested in something like that?

I would be paying for the bow and I want to make sure there is enough interest. Otherwise, I would just donate the bow money.

    Thanks.

Sure, as long as it's a Martin ;-)

Is there a total/maximum number of "tickets" to be sold??

    I don't know....I didn't think about that yet.

I just want to make sure it is worth it rather than just donating bow money myself.

Ideally, I would like to raise at least $2,000.

What would be a reasonable cap?

    Still kicking ideas around.

Would it better to have a 2nd and 3rd place for the "extras" rather than one big mother of a package?

250-300 tickets... depends on how much you want to raise I guess.

Winner takes all. Will make for less shipping hassle on you.

If you do it, PM me.... put our club down for 10

    Absolutely!

Have you considered contacting some of the manufacturers and ask if they can make a donation, or give you a discount... Can't hurt to ask.

Yeah, I am going to ask some manufacturers to throw some stuff in.

I have some awesome ideas but I don't want to say anything and put people on the spot.

One big mother would be cool but I think it would be best to spread the wealth around. Kind of seems greedy for a dude to get a new Monster and keep a pack of broadheads as well. I would like it if I could I have 1-20 places.

Well, I'll tell you my opinion...
if it's "one person take all" w/ >200 tickets, I'm not intersted.
Just tell me where to send a few dollars and keep my name out of the raffle.

Let us know one way or the other. I have two family members,(one still in a coma, the other, for lack of better words, retarded) whom could possibly benefit from spinal cord research.

Thanks. PM me what you have in mind.

I got word from Jeff Aulik at Gray Wolf Woolens that he will be donating something as a prize as well.

If I have to go out and make get a permit, I'm going to make it big.
