Need a little help.
If y'all got any prayers left... I could probably use a couple...
I have decided it is time to fix what is physically wrong with my carcass or find out if there is no relieving the constant pain and irritating restrictions to my everyday activities.
Wednesday I go to the Vascular Surgeon and Thursday I see the Orthopaedic Surgeon; hopefully within a week or so I will know if I can return to an active life or if Iím destined to feel this miserable for the remainder of my life.
If I would of had even one small inkling that I would live past 40, I would have been more careful with my body.

Hey brother, a prayer is the least we can do for you. I'll send a couple your way. Hope it works out for you! That look on my face is not concern, its shock at your utter stupidity!
Check out Redneckarcher.com. It's an adult archer/hunting site that feels like hunt camp.

And it doesn't get better with age..... I am a direct result of too many John Wayne movies as a kid and have lived my life with a testroserone level much higher than my I.Q. When I get out of bed in the morning I sound like some-kind of weird musical insturment while trying to cross the room and it doesn't get better with age. But wouldn't trade it off for anything. Most of all the pains are from memories and expierence.
I'll be down in Tenn. the latter part of this week surronded by 100's of Catholic Clergy and will see if I can get some of them to send a few prayers your way. (my brother gets Ordained as the Bishop of Knoxville, Tenn. Thursday)

Well one down and one to go...
The visit to the Vein doc was enlightening to say the least... Just two small surgeries and I should be fine... It isn't Lymph Edema as was previously diagnosed... it is curable with surgery and after recovery I should have the full use of my leg after nearly 20 years of unnecessary misery...
I love my new doctor...Mike "Javi" Cooper

best wishes with round #2
hopefully they have some magical monkey paw dust hidden back in an old leather bag.
or better yet, these days with some of the technology they have................a reasonable treatment with a good prognosis. 3 dimensional scans and other techniques are quite amazing.
wishing for the best.

The surgery on my leg is to close the great saphenous vein because the valves are not working properly and so do not allow the blood to return to my heart.
I have had this condition since the mid 90's and various doctors have diagnosed it to be everything from a fungus they had in Viet Nam, or a virus to you're too fat and have lymph edema... It simply amazes me that some doctors can keep their license to practice... Oh well... I guess they can just bury their mistakes... Not a single one would acknowledge my pleas for help or referral to a specialist, until I found this young doctor who was both honest and smart enough to admit he didn't know....
I lost much of the quality of mobility for the better years of my life to their incompetence and only wish I could get each of them in a dark room for a little while... I know I shouldn't feel this way... but I sit here in discomfort as I have for a good many years and can't help feeling the need to vent...Mike "Javi" Cooper
